Steven is a highly skilled bioengineer with a strong academic background and extensive experience in cell-based therapy manufacturing. He earned his Masters in Engineering from Keck Graduate Institute and his Bachelors in Science from the University of La Verne. With a deep passion for advancing regenerative medicine, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

His professional journey has been marked by a focus on the production of various cell types. His expertise includes small molecules, biologics, cell and gene therapies. Proficient in mammalian cell culture, he has worked with bioreactors of various types, both single-use and stainless steel, at laboratory, pilot, and manufacturing scales. His skills extend beyond the laboratory, encompassing statistical analysis using tools like JMP and SPSS, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Moreover, he possesses a strong understanding of computational modeling, enabling him to optimize bioreactor performance and study design. With this comprehensive skill set, he is well-equipped to contribute to drive advancements in the field of bioengineering and biomanufacturing.

In addition to his technical background, he has worked as a process development consultant, providing strategic guidance to biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Some of his key strengths lie in advising on process development, manufacturing,  clinical trial design, execution, and data analysis for pharmaceutical products. He is well-versed in GMP, GLP and GCP regulations and guidelines. He is also well-versed in developing and reviewing technical documents, including IND and BLA submissions, and excels in conducting scientific assessments and due diligence for potential acquisitions or partnerships.
